The Virtual Desktop System is provided to FHTC students, faculty and staff only.  This software will allow you to access any software programs you may need to complete work for your courses (ie. MS Office package: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc..)  To use this option on a home or personal computer, follow the instructions below.

Virtual Desktop Instructions

Go to my.fhtc.edu https://my.fhtc.edu/ics

 

Login in the top right-hand corner using your standard FHTC ID and password

Click on "Quick Link" on the far left side of the screen

Select Virtual Desktop option listed at the bottom

If you want to install it for the duration of your time at FHTC- Select install VMware Horizon client

                Follow on-screen instructions.

If you want to only use it as needed- Select VMware Horizon HTML Access

                Login using you standard FHTC ID and password.

Select “Presentation” and a screen will appear that is similar to on-campus home screens.
