Students will learn successful writing techniques and evaluation tools for effective communication in the workplace. Students will learn both effective communication principles and the use of current technology to succeed in a high-tech, global work environment in written and oral communication and presentations
1. Use message formats and punctuation styles appropriate for the communication objective.
2. Use appropriate grammar, spelling, word division, and correct word usage appropriate for the communication objective.
3. Collect, evaluate, and organize information to plan, develop, and prepare a spoken and a written report.
4. Use a variety of resources including the Internet to complete communication activities.
