HONORS SOCIETY

The Flint Hills Technical College Honor Society is affiliated with the National Technical Honor Society and promotes service, leadership, honesty, career development, knowledge, and skills. 

Membership is based on academic performance, including a minimum GPA of 3.75 or better, and instructor recommendation. 

PHI BETA LAMBDA

Want to build a portfolio of documented accomplishments before you enter the job market? PBL (the collegiate division of FBLA) activities can complement your academic experience and give you an edge in your future career. During a job interview, you can point to the leadership positions you held for the largest collegiate business student organization in the world. At the same time, you can discuss the academic competitions you entered and how you fared against the very best students in the nation.

PBL is the ideal way to sharpen your business skills and apply your classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Christian Connection

Christian Connection is a campus organization that will center on five core values: Community, Worship, Truth, Accountability, and Service Let’s strive to figure out what it means to love God and to follow him in practical ways.

STUDENT SENATE

The Student Senate is a service organization that contributes to the college in many areas, including planning and organizing school events and activities.  The senate provides a voice for student concerns by departmental representation to provide input on college operations and goals.  Providing a forum for dialogue on the quality of student life at FHTC, they are a key leadership group at the college.

Students elected to Student Senate participate in monthly meetings and other campus activities. Interested parties contact should contact their advisor before elections held each fall.

SKILLS USA

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel. We provide educational programs, events,and competitions that support career and technical education (CTE) in the nation’s classrooms.
