A RESOURCE GUIDE FOR COVID-19

This guide is to provide the Flint Hills Technical College Community with quick and easy access to quality factual resources on the current Health Situation we are facing globally.
  • May be able to work with Emporia Area students on options
  • Have installed several "Hot Spots" in the Downtown Emporia Area (Commercial Street 6th-11th) that are open and free to use
  • Connect2Compete - low-cost internet for households with school-aged children. New customers get the first month
  • Open Cox Wifi hotspots

  • $10/month for qualifying families or free wifi locations
 
  • Access Program ($10/month) for households participating in the National School Lunch program and limited income households.   
  • New customers for this program get the first two months free
  • Open public wifi hotspots
  • Has several offers specifically for COVID-19 situation

  • Free Access to Xfinity hotspots

  • Serving the KC area (Olathe, Lenexa, Shawnee Mission)
Area Cell Phone Companies- T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, etc.
  • Check with you cell service provider and ask if there are any "COVID-19" hot spot options available with your cell plan
